9:21 AM Port Alice (Hong Kong) / upriver
9:29 AM A Tidewater tugboat & barge of sawdust / upriver. I find it's very difficult to tell the names & ports of tugboats due to the low nature of their stern and the angle they move across my field of view. This one's name might have been "Liberty", but I'm not sure.
11:04 AM Harbor seal surfaced downriver of spotting site.
11:22 AM US Coast Guard boat "Bluebell" (unknown port) / downriver
11:42 AM Tugboat "Manfred Nystrom" (La Conner, WA) / upriver
12:37 PM Harbor seal surfaced downstream of spotting site, resubmurged. Again at 12:42 PM.
12:54 PM Manfred Nystrom* (La Conner, WA) / downriver
12:54 PM Queen Asia* (Panama) / upriver

4:47 PM Double rainbow!
4:49 PM Second harbor seal also surfaces at same time as first. Darker head with faint spotting. Earlier animal had much lighter head. Both submerge, one after the other.
5:03 PM Lighter harbor seal surfaced & submerged
5:04 PM Darker harbor seal surfaced & submerged
5:07 PM Darker harbor seal resurfaced, followed by lighter harbor seal.
5:11 PM Another harbor seal surfaces, intermediate in color between lighter and darker harbor seals, at distance from the other two. Suggests a 3rd animal present.

5:19 PM Tugboat "Maki Hana" (Portland, OR) / downstream
5:30 PM End Survey.
